Carer's Allowance is a taxable benefit for people who spend at least 35 hours a week caring for someone who gets a qualifying disability benefit.
Eligibility Criteria
- You care for someone for at least 35 hours a week
- The person you care for gets a qualifying benefit
- You are 16 or over
- You are not in full-time education (21 hours or more per week)
- You earn £139 or less per week after deductions

- The person you care for must receive PIP daily living, Attendance Allowance, or similar
- You cannot have earnings over £139/week after deductions
